I stopped at the Valero a couple of days ago, and when I saw how much the gas was, I almost ran into the gas pump. It was $2.09!! I was so shocked, I had to take a picture of it!
Then Bart went yesterday to the Racetrack on Highway 6, and he said gas was $1.99!! Oh my! How awesome is that?? I don't know how the economy is doing, but the gas prices rock! (and yes, it IS sad that I am excited that gas costing $1.99!)

I can't wait until the $1.99 gas makes its way to the Red Stick!
I can so relate to the frustration of gas prices. I remember when it would only take $35 to fill my car [ahhhh the good old days] now it takes $70. I am so greatful that I do not have to drive to work every day. Wow imagine how much money it takes to fill an aircraft, thank goodness that is not coming out of my pocket. Amber xxx
Bart and I were married Feb 11, 2006. We moved to Houston in July of that same year, and we've been here ever since.
We three beautiful little girls: Ella Pearl, Amelia Rose (who are 15 months apart), and Olivia Levet (18 months later).
This is the story of our blessed family and our crazy journey of parenthood. Enjoy!
